At night, someone shot and killed a sleeping elderly couple with a hunting rifle, leaving behind their 20-year-old son, a disabled orphan who could only sit in a wheelchair. The investigation revealed a life story that at first glance seemed like an ordinary Soviet family. When they were young, this couple lost their long-awaited little daughter. Later, fate gave them a child, but he happened to be a boy. The mother's pathological desire to have a daughter has turned into an obsession.
