劇情概要：
Charles Burnett is one of the most respected independent filmmakers in the United States. He wrote and directed this domestic drama, telling the story of a black middle-class family living in central and southern Los Angeles. However, there are no gangs, no guns, no drugs here, but a lyrical story drawn from folklore and supernatural phenomena. When Harry (played by Danny Glover) came to visit his old friend, the family tension had already begun to ferment. He exudes a relaxed charm, knows the secrets of the past and present, and quickly integrates into the core of the family. However, as his stay extended, he also began to cast more malicious spells, inciting unrest, using his son to plot against him, reigniting past hatred, and triggering a mysterious illness. Glover played a nagging family friend, full of potential threats, effortlessly evoking nostalgia and fear. As usual, Burnett provided an exciting music repertoire featuring gospel, blues, and jazz, and guest starred in legendary Jimmy Weatherspoon's slow burning, soulful 12 bar blues film Tom Charity, Time Out
