前天看完了特呂弗的La Peau Douce。學校圖書館關于特呂弗的作品并不多,差不多都看了個遍。就個人來講,特呂弗應該是我最喜歡的新浪潮的導演,因為他的作品相比其他的導演們,更加易懂。
比如這部La Peau Douce,故事是法國比較經典的一男兩女的愛情故事。兩個女人,一個愛人,一個情人。愛人最終為自己的愛犧牲,情人則最終選擇離開。一個男人,說謊的技術差到了極點,和情人間的故事很快就被愛人識破。想和情人重新開始美好的生活的時候,卻遭到了拒絕,留給他的是情人的離開和愛人的子彈。在電影即將結束的時候,男人想和愛人重歸于好,可是終究錯過了,這也正是電影的高潮所在。
Nicole,情人,年輕、活潑、有魅力,Pierre被他吸引很正常。Franca,愛人,人到中年,心里唯一想著的就是丈夫和孩子,不能說Pierre不愛她,但是這個四十多歲的男人聞到一股新鮮的氣息跑掉,這也屬于正常。
很多時候我們認為法國男人多情,Pierre的確是一個很好的例子,但是在現實生活當中,也有很多法國男人是專情的。女人嘛,Nicole是典型的法國浪漫多情女

Although we note the same good eyes for details, "Soft Skin" is not a good Truffaut. What we are missing here is the director's hallmark irony and sardonic witticism, facing what is (inevitably) Absurd in romance. The wife's face shows great strength of character, and the man is weak and pathetic, as usual, but not in the puppy-ish, child-like ways in other Truffauts. There is little humor, and not enough background as to whether there is a pattern of philandering, or other aspects of the man's and the woman's character that can explain, first of all, why they are man and wife to start with; and second, why the abrupt tragic end.
A few things to look out for:
- The kitty in the breakfast tray;
- the leopard skin conversation;
- the extraordinarily inane conversation of the women.
