劇情：14-year-old Shabu is a kind, creative, and street smart boy from southern Rotterdam. When he crashed his grandmother's car while driving, the whole family felt angry at him. Before his grandmother returned from vacation in Suriname, he had a summer to make up for it. His mother suggested that he should sell the popsicles to compensate for the loss, but it was difficult for him to go far. Therefore, he came up with another solution that would enable him to combine earning money with his musical talent and the fun of the hot summer. Will he successfully make his family, especially his grandmother, proud of him again? "I am a little boy from Pepperklip" is Shabu's description of himself, referring to the famous (infamous) building in southern Rotterdam where he grew up. This movie's vibrant story and interesting editing highlight the contradictions of teenage life: not polished during difficult times, polished when needed to shine.
