12 year old African American girl onique Watson disappeared from her home in Brooklyn. Her father, Michael Watson, made every effort to find his youngest daughter, and he supported himself through faith and will. When Christian Baker, a young New York City journalist from The Chronicle, was assigned to cover her story, the police found it difficult to find her. Christian attempted to complete the task, and he quickly and poorly studied the story and took the lead in completing it. This led to a series of unexpected events. Christian, with a sense of guilt, decided to search with Michelle and took the initiative to buy time to help find Monica.
