From the first moment she played football, Marinette Pichon's life revolved around football. Although there is no women's team in her hometown of rural France, her talent is self-evident, and her focus on football helps to distract Marinette from the toxic family life. When she retired from the local men's team, a star scout discovered her and invited her to play for the national women's team.
