劇情概要：
Baseball player Micah Matthias and his youngest son Bobby are fleeing the brutal media because their wife and mother have been subjected to traumatic and unresolved murders. They eventually arrived in the quaint Amish community of Sugarcreek, Ohio, under a pseudonym and a broken old truck. The three Amish sisters run an old farmhouse inn. They put themselves under their own shelter and hired Micah as a handyman. This has sparked suspicion among a Sugarcreek policewoman named Rachel Troyler, who is the niece of three children and raised her after becoming an orphan when she was young. Will the truth interfere with love?
