In the past year, Kate Parks has been promoting her book on the road, deeply discussing her attempt to cover up the death of her husband in the plane crash. Now, she just wants to go home and reunite with her 15-year-old daughter Samantha. However, when a powerful solar flare hit her flight home, killing the pilot, knocking down the co pilot, and blowing up all the electronic systems on the plane, it seemed that she might not be able to reach there. When the passengers fell into panic, Kate and flight attendant Jack worked together to deal with the increasingly chaotic and tense situation on the plane, attempting to make 30000 tons of steel fly in the air at a speed of 500 miles per hour. Kate flew blindly, trying to find a way to communicate with air traffic control - no matter what, the plane was about to crash. Due to the imminent danger of the passengers' lives, Kate must find a way to land safely... Or she may never see her daughter again.
