想不到還能在大屏幕上看到莎蘭德。索尼直接跳過了兩本書，放棄了莎蘭德他爹的背景故事。
莎蘭德父親扎拉千科是俄羅斯前特工，十惡不赦的虐待狂，正是莎蘭德成長起來后一直對抗的那種人。扎拉千科不斷虐待莎蘭德的母親，最后幼小的莎蘭德為了保護母親，燒傷了扎拉千科，也讓自己被宣告精神失常，需要受到監護。
長大后的莎蘭德最終直面自己的父親，重創扎拉千科，自己也丟了半條命。直到第三本書的末尾作者才揭露，莎蘭德有個姐妹，就是電影里表現的卡米拉。

Good, exciting action movie/thriller, but I really appreciate Lisbeth, who seems to be defeated now and then but always bounces back up. I like it that she never needs rescuing and instead keeps rescuing others. Though my movie buddy pointed out that it made Lisbeth too unbeatable. I like the first one as well, and really liked Daniel Craig playing Mikael Blomkvist... I do find it interesting that the filmmakers played down the once sexual relationship between Lisbeth and
