The Red Ring of Fear (Enigma Rosso), 1978, 85 minutes. Director Alberto Negrin ended the "Los Angeles Trilogy" in this grand event, and more female students with precocious sex were dusted off in this competition. Fabio Tati is the police inspector who tracks the murderer, and Christine Kaufman is his girlfriend. It was full of red herring, abnormal distortion, dirty situation, appalling dialogue and a left-field climax, and Liz Altorani's wonderful score was interspersed with it from time to time.
